About Us

Thank you for your interest in our products and web site.

Foalguard is situated 35km south west of Ballarat inVictoria, Australia.

FoalGuard is a family run business born from our love of horses and our desire to find reliable and functional monitoring products for our own horses and foaling mares.

We built our first foaling alarm in 1995 for use on my pony mare. That alarm was a far cry from the alarms we produce today, but it did the job. It took a further 12 years before we decided to commence commercial production of our alarm after increasing demand and the need to work from home.

Our products have evolved through constant research and development.
We now Export our products all around the world.

Since staring this business we have introduced more products such as the Float and Foaling camera kits, Foaling predictor kit and the Mare pregnancy tests. We hope to keep expanding our products in the future.

We pride ourselves on quality products that work and excellent customer service.
